Richard Czech - CEORichard Czech leads the LightSand team as Chief Executive Officer. Richard previously served in the company as the Managing Director for EMEA where he created strong business relationships with OEMs and large Storage Vendors. Mr. Czech is cumulating 15 years of experience as entrepreneur and key executive positions in the Storage Industry. Prior to LightSand, Richard was the Vice-President Technology, Europe for ADIC (Nasdaq: ADIC). He was also the founder and President during 6 years of Chevry Inc, a successful backup software company based in Calabasas (CA) and Paris. In addition to his extensive business administration experience, Richard holds an Engineering degree from French National Engineering School in Telecommunications, Automation and Electronics. Victor Gissin - Vice President of EngineeringVictor Gissin comes to LightSand with over 15 years of software experience. His technological expertise lies with Networking, Mainframe, LAN, and FC systems and he has led many software development projects in various technological fields throughout the world. Itzik Ben Haroosh – Vice President of FinanceItzik brings over 12 years of financial experience in accounting, consulting, international taxation and planning. Itzik came to LightSand from SANcastle Technologies where he was Subsidiary Controller, following its acquisition by LightSand in August 2003. Previously, Itzik held several management positions with Ernst & Young Israël, including Senior Manager with responsibilities over both private and public companies. Itzik Ben Haroosh is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BA in Economics and Accounting from Haifa University and an LL.M. from Bar-Ilan University in Israël. Brian Bigley - Vice President US Business DevelopmentBrian has over 23 years of experience selling and marketing software, hardware and services. He is a senior sales & marketing executive with previous positions as President of North America and Sr. Vice President Sales, Marketing and Services with the world’s third largest software company; Director of Sales and Marketing for North and South America for Germany’s largest technology company, first 10 enterprise account managers with Compaq Computer, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing with several start-up companies. Brian began his technology career in 1983 as a branch manager for a major retail channel. He then was responsible for the reseller sales authorization and opened Europe and Asia at Compaq while developing the sales curriculum and managing the sales training team. Thereafter, Brian served as Sr. Vice President of Computer Associates, and co-founded my-eTrust.com, an On-Demand security service provider for the SMB and consumer markets. Brian has a strong background in enterprise security, messaging, communications and application software sales for LAN / WAN and Mainframe environments. Mark Zawacki - Special Advisor IBM Corporate RelationsMark spent nearly a decade as a strategy consultant with CSC Index, the strategic management consulting division of Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). Mark was variously based in Amsterdam, London, Sydney and San Francisco. Mark's consulting focused at the vortex of corporate strategy, organizational change, and leveraging technology for business advantage. His Fortune 500 and FT500 clients were in the financial services, manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals and retail sectors. Mark began his high tech career with Symantec, joining in 1987.
